MEET ANDREW:

Meet Andrew Schofield, a dedicated therapist who partners with individuals, couples, and families to guide them towards their goals and a brighter future.  He works with people experiencing small challenges in life to those experiencing significant mental health struggles or addictions.  Currently pursuing his Masters at Capella University, Andrew's commitment to his clients is fueled by his own experiences as a young person receiving vital help and support.  

Clients often describe Andrew as compassionate, inquisitive, and challenging – qualities that reflect his genuine dedication to their well-being. Drawing from his personal journey, Andrew is determined to pay forward the assistance he once received, fostering a sense of camaraderie and understanding in his therapeutic relationships.  When you work with Andrew, you’ll be met with an active and encouraging approach to your treatment planning so you can exceed your goals. 

  • With a remarkable background in experiential therapy, Andrew spent 5 years as an Experiential Specialist at The Ranch PA. His innovative approach involved developing a curriculum featuring ropes courses specifically tailored for individuals grappling with acute mental health disorders. This unique approach allowed him to harness the power of experiential activities to instigate profound healing and growth.

    Andrew's advanced expertise lies in Experiential Therapy Training, a method he employs to identify strengths within individuals and translate them into real-life applications. His strengths-based approach involves recognizing and expanding strengths across various aspects of life. He firmly believes that any behavior or thought pattern labeled as "unhealthy" serves as a coping mechanism, and his goal is to uncover new skills that harmonize with clients' innate strengths.

    Andrew's specialization spans a diverse range of areas, including addiction, opioid use disorder, self-esteem, life skills, confidence-building, Buddhist approaches, and men's mental health. His depth of knowledge is coupled with a genuine love for soccer – a connection to his roots and a source of joy. Beyond therapy, Andrew finds solace in culinary exploration, using cooking as a grounding activity that also kindles his creativity. Additionally, he unwinds by immersing himself in the world of video games, recognizing the importance of having an escape to a different reality.
