MEET JASMINE:
Jasmine Vang, M.A., LMFT, brings a compassionate and systemic approach to her therapy practice, drawing from her extensive training and clinical family based therapy experiences. With a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliance University (formerly known as Nyack College) and licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Jasmine is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate through life's challenges. Jasmine's commitment to her clients, coupled with her empathetic approach and diverse skill set, makes her a trusted ally in the journey towards healing and growth.
Her therapeutic approach is deeply influenced by Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy, particularly the teachings of Jorge Colapinto, which emphasize an outside-in perspective on change. This perspective has reshaped Jasmine's understanding of how individuals can heal and grow, not solely through internal motivation but also through external support and experiences.

Inspired by the movie "A Beautiful Mind," Jasmine recognizes the importance of accepting and managing mental health disorders rather than simply aiming to eliminate them. She incorporates cognitive reframing techniques, role-plays, and grounding exercises to help clients challenge negative beliefs, process emotions, and stay present in the moment. Jasmine welcomes individuals, couples and families to walk through her therapy door and embraces each client’s journey with an active and non judgmental approach.
Drawing from internal family systems and structural therapy, Jasmine helps clients identify negative patterns and roles within relationships, facilitating understanding and supporting positive changes. Her work spans a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, anger, self-esteem, ADHD, parenting, family relationships, premarital counseling, couples counseling and stress management.
Jasmine's professional journey includes clinical experience as an Access Center Clinician at WellSpan Philhaven Hospital and Ephrata Community Hospital, followed by six years as a family-based therapist specializing in high-risk children and their families. Her diverse background has equipped her to advocate for her clients and provide holistic support.
Rooted in her personal experiences of overcoming emotional struggles in her youth, Jasmine is driven by a desire to be the supportive figure for those during difficult times. Outside of her practice, she finds joy in watching movies and television shows, spending quality time with family, playing volleyball and cornhole, indulging in boba tea, and exploring new destinations through travel.
